Iron & Wine是一个很温柔的唱歌的大胡子，那歌声是细腻的、平和的、柔软的，至少我这么认为。《The Shepherd's Dog》这张专辑将于2007年9月25日发行，12首曲子，真的每一首都很有味道。而7月先发行了《Boy with a Coin》，其中包含了收录在《The Shepherd's Dog》的"Boy with a Coin"和另外两只单曲：“Carried Home” and “Kingdom of the Animals”。只是新专辑的封面设计出乎意料的低调，与以往的重彩浓抹相比，显得深沉了许多。不过我最喜欢的是专辑中的那首“Innocent Bones”，可惜找不到可试听的网址。
